On March 1, 2015, David L.  Hardin, 74 of Lambertville, MI, passed away due to complications of a stroke.  He was born on January 2, 1941 in Tennessee and then moved to Detroit when he was five. David served in the U.S. Army for 3 years, being stationed in Okinawa and White Sands.  He worked for Lynch Corporation in Detroit as a machinist and Libby Glass in Toledo, OH as a journeyman machinist from 1979-2006 when he retired.   He was an avid sports fan, often watching the big game at his favorite watering hole, the Michigan Tavern.  He also loved to play golf. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sandy., daughters, Cherie (Robert) Paisie, Dawn (Sean) Wood and Terrie (Todd) Masters.  Sister, Shirley (Ken) Harrison.  Grandchildren that he loved so much, Taylor and Nathan Paisie, Devon and Riley Wood, and Cole and Lily Masters. David was preceded in death by his parents, and niece, Kimberly Harrison.  Visitation will from 1-2 pm on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm.  Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
